Tropical Berry Smoothie with Coconut and Dates
We can no longer ignore the summer weather and so we are already in a tropical atmosphere! This colorful smoothie is not only delicious as a refreshment, but you can also have it as a lunch or snack. The proteins and dates give you a feeling of satiety, so you can go all afternoon.
Ingredients (for 2 large glasses)
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt
- 250 ml fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 125 gr frozen blackberries
- 25 gr Live Puri coconut protein powder unsweetened
- 3 fresh dates (pitted)
- 1 handful of blueberries (fresh)
- 1 tsp chia seeds
Preparation
- Pour the fresh orange juice into the blender and add the frozen blackberries.
- Mix it until smooth. In the beginning you put the blender on the highest setting. You build this down to the middle position.
- Now add the yoghurt and mix again until smooth.
- Now add the pitted dates, blueberries and coconut proteins and set the blender to the middle position.
- Finally, add the chia seeds and lemon juice and mix until everything is well combined.
- Pour your smoothie into an ice-cold glass. Tip: put the glass in the freezer for 20 seconds. This way the flavors come out even better!
