Green smoothie 'in a jar'
How delicious does this green smoothie look! It is not only nice to vary the content of your breakfast, serving it in a different beautiful way also makes it much more attractive. Green smoothies can be quite intense in taste due to, for example, celery and all kinds of grass stems. Our version gets its beautiful color from spinach. You can taste the spinach very subtly and it is surprisingly delicious with the coconut of our protein powder!
This smoothie is slightly thicker so you can eat it with a spoon. Do you prefer to drink your smoothie? Then add some more (almond) milk. Do you want it even thicker? Then you can add less milk or more frozen fruit.
Are you more of a chocolate fan? Then make this one chocolate protein smoothie bowl as breakfast. It looks like a dessert, but it's packed with protein and fiber.
Preparation time
Ingredients:
- 175 ml milk (e.g. almond)
- 50g 0% Greek Style Natural Optimel
- 120 grams of frozen banana
- 50 grams frozen mango
- 40 grams baby spinach
- 25 gram Live Puri coconut protein powder lightly sweetened
- some puffed quinoa or rice (optional)
Preparation
- Blend all ingredients in a blender or with a stick blender.
- Sprinkle the puffed quinoa or rice in 2 glass jars or dishes.
- Pour the smoothie over it and decorate with some fresh fruit of your choice.
- Enjoy!
